About Me

Hey there! So.. I realize I am really late getting this "about" page up, but I never could think how to introduce myself (I'm that complicated!)

So how about a little history first? Sound good?

I was born in Delaware actually, but I have moved around all over the Eastern Seaboard, and only lived two years in Delaware. I've lived most of my life in North Carolina. I have been raised as a Christian since I was a little baby, and always believed in God, the Bible, and Jesus.

I accepted all the truths in the Bible, but only in the past two years have I really taken my faith and made it my own, and become serious in it. I guess you could say, I was an infant in my Christianity. Now I'm a toddler, attempting to walk on my own with it, but still accepting a helping hand from my parents. ;) While I'm at it, I'm just going to throw a quick bit of advice out there. I want to tell you, that it is very important to have a close relationship with your parents. I didn't always, but I do now, and it is awesome!

Anyhow, back to my story. :D I began to get really serious about my Christianity my second year of attending Youth Group at my church. I had two SUPER awesome youth leaders, and we have an awesome Youth Pastor. But my youth leader, who is now a sort of mentor, took a big interest in me and we started emailing me, and I just wanted to be like her! I wanted to be a strong Christian like she was (and is!). She really inspired me. She continues to inspire me! By the way, you can check out her blog if you're interested.. https://letsomesunin.wordpress.com/ She's got some really good devotional stuff on there! So she encouraged me to become a stronger Christian and I'm so thankful God put her in my life!

The next step in my Spiritual maturing was the want to share my faith and hope with others. I used to be hesitant about telling people I was a Christian. I'm not sure when the change occurred, but I found myself really really wanting to bring people to Christ. So I've started talking to people about it, encouraging them to seek God, and I've been praying that God would use me for His glory. It's such an honour to have the Lord of the Universe use you. I was thrilled when He used me to help someone realize their faith was not gone! It was the awesomest thing EVER!

That's pretty much where I'm at right now! So, as I've done Bible studies, and I've noticed things, I've wanted to share it with people. The point in this blog.
